INTRODUCTION & APPLICATIONS
* Measuring range 10-15 psi
* Check on pressure loss through gauge
* Possibility of testing locking caps
* Pressure test on the cooling system
OPERATION:
* Remove the original radiator cover when the engine is in the cool state.
Choose a test cap suitable for the radiator and screw the cap onto the expansion radiator. (Fig)
* Connect the pump to the test cap through the quick adaptor at the hose end.
* Pressurize the kit to 10~15 psi. If the gauge pointer stops for 1 minute, it means the whole circuit is in perfect situation; if it goes down, it means the circuit leaks. But if the gauge goes down and no fluid leakage, check whether the engine head gasket is worn.
(CAUTION: please avoid the pressure up to the 35 psi.)
* Finally, release pressure by using the pressure relief valve. Clean up any fluid or dirt before pack up the kit.
